Chiltern Search Dogs provide lowland search and rescue dogs to assist police   constabularies in the search for vulnerable missing persons. This includes   missing children, elderly missing persons who may be suffering from dementia and   despondents. Chiltern Search Dogs, their handlers and support personnel work   alongside police officers and volunteers from Association of Lowland Search and Rescue Units to try to locate these people and reunite them with their families.

Chiltern Search Dogs is a member of Lowland Search Dogs, the umbrella   organisation overseeing standards for lowland search dogs in the UK.

Our members are all volunteers, drawn from a variety of backgrounds, who give   their time freely to undertake training and be on call 24 hours a day, seven   days a week. Chiltern Search Dogs always welcomes new members - whether dog   owners or not, to assist the organisation both operationally and in   non-operational roles such as fundraising and administration.

Providing such a valuable service requires funding and Chiltern Search Dogs   relies upon sponsorship and donations to keep running. Please see our Supporters page for details of how you can help.
